Formation is endemic to the human condition. We are always being formed into one kind of person or another. Formation is inescapable and continual. Our experiences, our history, the surrounding culture, our relationships, the social media we consume, what we read and watch, along with our daily behaviors and practices all play a meaningful role in shaping us.

At Redeemer Downtown, we have created the discipleship wheel to help us pursue spiritual formation intentionally. The discipleship wheel is simply a tool, nothing more and nothing less. It is also far from exhaustive. There are a number of other practices that the wheel does not mention. The wheel is designed to be intuitive and accessible, providing both a pathway for growth and a diagnostic tool to help us consider our growth.
