Navigating family life while finding and maintaining faith-centered relationships throughout childhood is both complex and rare in New York City.
The goal of our children’s ministry at Redeemer Downtown is to provide children and families a space to grow together in what it means to love—and be loved by—Jesus. While we get the privilege to see these families on Sunday mornings, we want to provide helpful resources to use during the week for your family to grow in both the understanding and expression of a faith-filled life. Here are some of our favorite resources we want you to know about for kids (don’t worry, we’ll showcase our favorites for youth and parents coming soon!):
Jesus Storybook Bible, Sally Lloyd-Jones
The Biggest Story, Kevin DeYoung
International Children’s Bible (ICB)
Kaleidoscope Bible (Audio Books!)
New International Reader’s Version (NIrV)
For The Bible Tells Me So series
Tales That Tell The Truth series
Big Questions for PreTeens, Chris Morphew
God’s Design for Sex (Books 1-4), Stan and Brenna Jones
God Made All of Me: A Book to Help Children Protect their Bodies
Kids Read Truth Esther Playbook
Minno Monthly Devotional (A free download!)
The children’s ministry team is here to support you in your parenting journey and to provide your kids with helpful resources that help them thrive.
