Jesus Christ calls his followers to be 'in the world but not of the world' but what does this mean for politics? Jesus was not 'a-political'; the claim 'Jesus is Lord' was deliberately contrasting Caesar's claim to be Lord. However, Jesus was 'counter-political', saying 'my kingdom is not of this world'. This seminar will look at how following Christ impacts how Christians vote, and conduct themselves, particularly in light of an increasingly polarized political landscape.
